The Jury for the Middle East Motor Awards 2011 consists of 19 highly sought-after automotive experts from 10 countries that together represent the Middle East automobile industry. They have a collective industry experience of over 40 years and can boast an extremely commendable body of work. Each member is elected for his personal competence, and not because of the importance or influence of the media resource that he may represent.As an ongoing process; new members will join the Jury at the invitation and recommendation of the current Jury Committee. All members of the Middle East Motor Awards Jury regularly test drive and critically analyze cars as part of their journalistic work, and each year, every member is required to confirm that car testing is a major part of his professional activity
Ara Sahakian has over 15 years of automotive industry experience having worked for the Automotive Sector at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto, Canada. He is a car enthusiast and the founder of ORZ Performance, a professional auto business which specializes in modifying, servicing, selling and renting 4x4s. Off-road-Zone has also built and operates the only 4×4 track in Dubai. He enjoys both desert and track driving and is a critical car analyst. This is his second year in a row as a Jury for the Middle East Motor Awards.
